Public transportation : ATTENTION tram T1 is not operating any more during this Summer AND M° B (blue line) is replaced by buses after 21:15 from Monday 8th to Wednesday 10th. 1. Reach the last stop of the tramway T1, Debourg stop. Take the street in front called "allée de Fontenay", that start with a huge mural scuplture of colorful grasshopersnext to a huge black'n while mural painting (photos ci-dessous). The IFE entrance is about a 100 meters away. 2. Metro B (blue line), Debourg stop. Find the tramway line and follow point number one above. By car: Too few parking lots in the neighborhood.
Train : Train stations are very easily accessible by public transportation network: Jean Macé station (the closest to the University Lodging Delessert). Then Metro B direction Oullins, stop at Debourg (about 3'), lift available Perrache train station then tramway T1 direction Debourg, up tho the last station (about 8'). Very pretty view on the confluences museum. In addition, you'll ride on Raymond Barre bridge (the one on top of this CNET2019 webpage).
